Q&A with Ustadh Gabriel Al Romaani

We are honoured and grateful to have Gabriel Al Romaani on our next webinar. Gabriel takes an approach in counselling that is inspired by the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (sawa) and Positive Islamic Psychology. He takes clients with a variety of issues, including confusions around gender sexuality and is vocal on topics such as the crisis of masculinity and femininity in the Muslim community and the impact of LGBTQ politics.

Gabriel Keresztes Al Romaani, the co-founder of ICRAA.org and GoldenRuleAppeal.com. Gabriel is a positive Islamic Psychology Counsellor and Educational Consultant. He studied Existential Well-being and Positive Psychology Counselling at the University of KU Leuven in Belgium.

He was born in Romania to a Christian family.  He migrated to Canada in 1998 where he undertook his secondary education.  After studying Islam for some years, he converted in 2003.  He studied at Mishkah University of North America where he completed his Bachelors in Islamic Studies and an Associate Degree of Islam.  He also graduated with a double major in Biology and Psychology Neuroscience from the University of Windsor, Canada. He has a Masters in Islamic Education from the University of Malaysia.

He worked as the General Director of Al-Resalah Schools, where he was blessed to meet numerous youth from different backgrounds with different problems. This allowed him to understand their issues and helped him develop a framework for dealing with the challenges that millennials face. Earlier in his life, he worked as a social worker for Family Respite Services in Windsor, as well as Islamic Social Welfare Association. He has been coaching and counselling youth and parents for the past 17 years, and has helped many return back to faith. He is a passionate educator, curriculum developer and culturally sensitive teacher. He currently lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with his family.

He is active on YouTube and provides Islamic Counselling.

    May Allah swt bless your work and gives you victory insha Allah biezinillah ! And the people who are mukalifa I mean interapt and disturbs you ! May Allah swt give them their pay . they will pay for these mess Allah swt is shedidul iqab anyhow may Allah swt protect you ,your family and us Allah swt will never break his promise who are truly believe him in their heart (believers ) .
