Faith, Fitrah and SSA

Faith, Fitrah and SSA

July 25, 2025 Webinar 1

We are pleased to welcome counsellor Bryan Shen from Singapore, author of books The Un-affirmed Core (recognizing the hidden pain) and Re-affirming The Core (building bridges of care and protection) that work on compassionately exploring the psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of non-heterosexuality, grounded in Shen’s work with individuals who are deeply hidden and afraid, offering rare insights not commonly found in mainstream media.

For this webinar, we tackle the questions:

  • Why does God allow us to have feelings of Same-Sex Attractions we did not ask for?
  • Does having Same-Sex Attractions contain a call to Fitrah?”

Bryan Shen is a registered professional counsellor and a supervisor who conducts training and lectures to counsellors and professionals. He is sought after by many conservative-religious institutions in Asia to provide educational talks to remove misconceptions and prejudices.

Date: Saturday 20th September 2025
